2021 registration is open for children born in 2017 and older.
Coaches only need to be interested in working with players and creating a positive, encouraging atmosphere while emphasizing skill development and sportsmanship. The LSSC has volunteers who will help you with ideas and skills, if you request it. Coach clinics are available at a number of levels. Ask your convener or the head convener for more information. Coaches under the age of 18 must complete a coaching clinic.
Online registration is the best option. More information is on the home page. However, we do offer in-person registration in the fall. Check website for dates and times.
The team head coach will contact you one or two weeks before the season begins to introduce themselves and the team.
The online registration options support Visa, MasterCard, Amex payments or e-transfer. Payments made by cheque are also accepted. In person registrations accept both cash and cheque.
Full refund will be granted before April 1st of the year in question after a $20 administration fee is deducted. A 50% refund will be issued after April 1st of the year in question and no refund will be issued after May 16th of the year in question. Competitive refunds are a little different as there is a $35 administration fee. Due to COVID-19, dates and applicable fees may be subject to change.
If registration becomes full and you wish your child to be placed on a waitlist for their specific age division, you will be required to read and fill-out a registration form, sign the waiver on the registration, and leave payment (preferably by cheque) for the registration fee. You will not be placed on a waitlist without payment.
There is a fun adult league that plays on Sunday evenings at 6:30 pm. We welcome individuals to come with their friends/teams.
All referees must complete a referee course through OSA and must maintain their registration every year. For more information, visit www.refcentre.com to search for a course.
Tax receipts will be issued through email.
Financial assistance may be available for families on limited incomes. Applications for these programs are made through the administration of the town in which you live.
The website lists the coaches of each competitive team and their contact information. Please contact these coaches directly or send an email to lsscbod@gmail.com for more information.
Your child will receive a jersey, shorts and socks (included in registration fee) from their coach. Each player must come equipped with shin guards and soccer shoes. No player is allowed on the field without the proper equipment.
LSSC is always in need of individuals to assist in the many tasks and duties that are required to operate the soccer club before the soccer season. If you could spare some of your valuable time to help the LSSC, we would greatly appreciate your help. Whether it be for a couple hours at a given time or a set amount of time each week, we could use your skills and talents. You can contact the club Convenor if you are interested in a volunteer position (tashahummell.lssc@gmail.com).
The emergency field phone number is to be used by coaches to get in contact with the clubhouse. It is only to be used if emergency first aid is needed on one of the fields. EMERGENCY #: 519-566-0900.
